There really isn’t much to this problem outside of reminding ourselves of what absolute value is.  Recall that the absolute value function is defined as,

Trick :-
Step 1 : First draw the graph for the function x (i.e y=x ) it is a linear graph passing through Origin.
Step 2 : Secondly if x is under modulus make the other axis (i.e y) as a mirror.
Step 3 : Consider the Object and image as your graph as shown below. 
(To right side its our Object & To the Left its our Image )
